Story:

      Here at Akins High School are having a color guard tryout. And these 68 girls are trying out hoping to get a position set for them. they are trying their very best to put their effort into something they really want to. so the abilities they need are flag-swirling and dance, rhythm, and coordination.
     there are dates to comply to the color guard tryout. These dates are Tuesday may 25, through Thursday May 27. The location will be held at the Akins High Campus in the west side of the parking lot. Also the chosen will join the marching band in the fall. and they do routines in basketball and football games during halftime also in parades. For applications they with be given out by Ms. Cindy Baker in Rm. 103.
